Our lifestyle affects our health, and depending on how we live it, we affect different parts of the body, and one the most visible being SKIN. Not only skin on our face, but from head to bottom, it’s a hell of skin to take care of.
Here are some healthy tips to help you have beautiful skin easily.
#1 – Hydration

Staying hydrated, aka drinking water, most cliche and one of the simplest ways to improve your skin. It will improve not only elasticity but also reduce dryness and smoothness as well.
#2 –Good Rest

The Beauty Sleep was not “invented” by chance just for Disney movies. Sleeping beauty had this one right: good rest is making you prettier and younger-looking. Research shows that only a few nights of neglected sleep will make you visibly more ugly.
Your body uses night hours to repair the day’s damage. When you fall asleep, your skin gets the chance to revitalize. So you may wake up looking prettier than the night before.
#3 –Movement & Nature

Studies show that regular exercise can improve your skin’s composition, allowing you to maintain a better structure of your skin, giving a healthier appearance for a longer time, and, of course, improving your body general health. If you add a calming, oxygenating effect of nature, you hit the jackpot. Better skin with a more elegant body. Do you need any more arguments?
#4 –Protect skin from too much sun exposure

Having tanned skin is very attractive. It’s a promise of an amazing time and wild summer. In the same wild manner, UV rays damage your skin cells. What results in a higher risk of cancer, dry skin, and premature ageing. Use a high-factor protective cream and avoid too much sun exposure when possible. Sun is healthy when used moderately. It lets your body produce vitamin D and improves mood like nothing else. So use it and have fun. Be mindful and opt for a natural bronze.
#5 –Smoking Cliché

How often we hear how bad effects smoking has on health? What does it do to your skin? Increase wrinkles and premature ageing of your skin. Decrease your skin’s ability to regenerate, hydration, elasticity, delay wound healing, increase infections, as well as a number of skin disorders (psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, cutaneous lupus erythematosus)
#6 – Avoid drinking alcohol

Drinking alcohol causes dehydration of your skin, which itself causes premature ageing and skin dryness. To reduce alcohol’s effect on your skin, avoid daily drinking and moderate amounts only — Balance alcohol with drinking water between drinks or after a party. Strong alcohol will make a stronger impact, like drinks with loads of sugar or mixing different alcohol types.
The safest and classy choice is a dry red wine.
#7 –Make friends with antioxidants

Antioxidant foods help fight free radicals in your body. Unstable molecules appear when the body suffers from the sun’s damaging effects, food, stress, smoke, or pollution. Free radicals are linked to ageing acceleration and several diseases.
Where are those skin saviours antioxidants? Let’s start with Pecans, berries, dark chocolate, kale, pomegranate, green tea…
Now we just need to grab a healthy smoothie with tones of berries on the way back from a day at the beach full of hydration, swimming & protective cream. Walk to kick even more movement and finish with green tea and a good night’s sleep.
